The master class, to be held from Tuesday, May 6 to Friday, May 16, will explore the history of the architecture book and its role as a messenger of architectural theories and ideas. Participants will analyze a seminal architectural series, considering its historical background, conceptual and editorial framework, design, and materiality. They will document their research in a textual and diagrammatic dossier and create a wordless book offering a new perspective on the material. Applying these insights, the second phase will focus on constructing a small architectural publication, developing critical and editorial skills alongside the craft of bookmaking. The two-week-long program will be concluded with a public event and exhibition on Friday, May 16.
