Architects Making Books

Roundtable Discussion

Architects Making Books
Dick van Gameren, Kees Kaan, Daniel Rosbottom, and Nathalie de Vries

Why make architecture books today? How does architectural knowledge present itself in books? How is the printed page used to convey architectural ideas? What are the crossovers between building culture and book culture?

Dick van Gameren, Kees Kaan, Daniel Rosbottom, and Nathalie de Vries will engage in a roundtable discussion, moderated by Salomon Frausto, on the making of their recent books and why architects still make books today. A reception will follow the discussion.

Organized by the Berlage Center for Advanced Studies in Architecture and Urban Design, this roundtable discussion is an activity of the Department of Architecture’s Design Research Agenda.
